At 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday building ridge located west of the offshore
waters.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT today weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

Issued 5:02 AM PDT 7 September 2024 A strong ridge of high pressure is currently over Southern BC. Theridge will produce strong to gale force northwesterly winds along
West Vancouver Island south of the Brooks Peninsula. The strong to
gale force winds will develop late this afternoon, then ease late
this evening.
