At 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday trough located off Cape Flattery.
By noon PDT Tuesday dissipating trough located off Cape Flattery.

Issued 3:20 AM PDT 18 August 2026 A strengthening ridge of high pressure over Bowie will produce strong
to gale force northwesterly winds over west coast Vancouver Island
Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.
