Issued 4:00 PM PDT 18 April 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary frontal system located
from Haida Gwaii to Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening frontal system located from Cape
St. James to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday departing trough located southwest of
Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday building ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Alaska panhandle.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:57 PM PDT 18 April 2026 A frontal system in place near Haida Gwaii will bring southeasterly
gales to most marine regions except the inner South Coast.

As the system stalls and weakens tonight, southeasterly gales will
gradually ease overnight into early Sunday morning.
