Hecate Strait.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday departing low 1014 mb located near McInnes
Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday building ridge located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Sunday ridge located on a line north-south over
Haida Gwaii.

At 9:00 p.m. PST Sunday approaching frontal system located west
of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:24 PM PST 7 December 2024 A 1005 MB low currently over Hecate Strait will track toward
Central Coast tonight. To the south of the low, gale force west
Winds are affecting central and southern waters. The winds will
Veer to gale force northwesterlies this evening and spread to
southern waters.

A building ridge of high pressure arrives on Sunday with weakening
northwest winds.

Another frontal system will cross northern waters on Monday
Bringing gale force southerlies.
