Wind southeast 20 to 30 knots increasing to southeast 30 to 40 near noon and to south 40 to 50 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to southwest 25 to 35 early this evening then becoming south 25 near midnight. Wind increasing to southeast 30 to 40 late overnight and to southeast 40 to 50 Friday evening.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday frontal system located over Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Friday quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line northwest-southeast over Haida Gwaii.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Friday low 990 mb located west of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Friday low 990 mb located over northwestern Bowie.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 10:09 AM PST 3 December 2020 A low pressure centre will track northwards across Bowie today and
weaken off the Alaskan Panhandle tonight. Ahead of the low, strong
to gale force southeasterlies over central and northern waters will
rise to gale to storm force today. In its wake, the winds shift to
gale to storm force southwesterly.
Winds will diminish tonight, but widespread southeast gales will
redevelop Friday morning as another frontal system moves over Haida
Gwaii. Winds will then rise to storm force southerly Friday evening
as another strong low centre moves northwards across Bowie.
