By 10:00 a.m. PDT Monday weakening frontal system located on a
line north-south over central Vancouver Island.
At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located over Bowie.
By 10:00 p.m. PDT tonight weakening trough located over the
North Coast.

Issued 10:10 AM PDT 13 October 2024 A frontal system will continue to move into the central watersToday. Gale to storm force southeasterlies will persist over the
central waters and down into West Coast Vancouver Island North
Today. The central waters will likely see winds weakening by late
afternoon. For west coast Vancouver Island, an extended period of
strong to gale force winds will continue until tonight.
Meanwhile a trough of low pressure will give strong to gale force
southerlies west of Haida Gwaii through this afternoon.
