Issued 9:30 PM PST 2 December 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
southern BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line north-south over Hecate Strait.

At 6:00 a.m. PST Thursday low located west of the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday low located west of Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:17 PM PST 2 December 2020 A frontal system stretched from the North Coast to Northern Vancouver
Island will stall tonight, spreading strong to gale force southerly
winds tonight and Thursday morning.

An area of low pressure will approach central waters Thursday
afternoon and reach Haida Gwaii by Thursday evening. Gale to
Storm force southerlies are expected in the vicinity of this area of
low pressure.
