Wind becoming northwest 5 to 15 early Sunday morning except northeast 10 to 20 near the mouth of Howe Sound. Wind becoming northwest 15 to 20 near noon Sunday then increasing to northwest 20 to 25 Sunday evening.

Issued 10:30 AM PDT 18 April 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located west of Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening frontal system located from Cape
St. James to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday departing trough located southwest of
Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday building ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Alaska panhandle.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:21 AM PDT 18 April 2026 A frontal system crossing the offshore waters today will bring
southeasterly gales to most marine regions except the inner South
Coast.

As the system stalls and weakens tonight, southeasterly gales will
gradually ease overnight into early Sunday morning.
