over Cape St. James.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Thursday weakening ridge located from the Central
Coast to Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today trough located west of Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Thursday weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:34 PM PDT 20 May 2026 Ahead of a ridge of high pressure, northwesterly gales continue over
Johnstone Strait and West Vancouver Island this evening and then ease
overnight. Winds will redevelop late Thursday afternoon.
