Issued 4:00 PM PST 9 December 2019 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located over Bowie.By noon PST Tuesday dissipating frontal system located on a line
north-south over Hecate Strait.
At 10:00 p.m. PST Tuesday frontal system located over Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:00 PM PST 9 December 2019 A frontal system will track across the offshore waters tonight andweaken over Hecate Strait midday Tuesday. Gale force southerlies will
weaken to moderate to strong westerlies late this evening over the
offshore waters. Gale force southeasterlies will weaken by midday on
Tuesday over Queen Charlotte Sound and Hecate Strait. In its wake the
winds will shift to moderate southwesterly.
By Tuesday night, widespread southeast gales will develop over
northern and central waters as another frontal system approaches. The
southeast gales will increase to southeast storm force near midnight.
