Issued 10:30 AM PDT 18 April 2025 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today weakening trough located over Queen
Charlotte Sound extending southwestward.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today dissipating trough located over Vancouver
Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Bowie.
By 11:00 a.m. PDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:26 AM PDT 18 April 2025 A trough of low pressure will move down the BC coast today, followed
by a building ridge of high pressure.

Gale force northwest winds will develop off the west coast of
Vancouver Island this afternoon and persist through Saturday. Strong
to gale force northwest winds are also expected over the inner South
Coast waters tonight through Saturday morning.
