line northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low located over northwestern Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight departing low located near the Alaska
panhandle.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located over the South Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over the Central Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:32 AM PDT 8 October 2024 A low pressure centre northwest of Bowie this morning will move
towards the Alaska Panhandle today. Moderate to strong
southwesterlies are expected over most northern waters except for
Bowie where gale force southwesterlies are expected today.
