Wind southeast 40 to 50 knots diminishing to southeast 25 to 35 early this morning and to southeast 15 to 25 late this morning. Wind increasing to southeast 25 to 35 late this afternoon then diminishing to southerly 10 to 20 this evening. Wind backing to southeast 15 to 25 Monday morning then increasing to southeast 25 to 35 near noon Monday.
Periods of rain ending Monday afternoon.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:51 AM PST 26 January 2020 A trough of low pressure is moving through northern waters, bringing
gale force southerly winds to the region.
A deepening area of low pressure approaching from the south, will
cross Vancouver Island this morning. Strong to gale force winds
In the vicinity of this low are expected with marginal southerly
storm force winds over the North Strait of Georgia early Sunday
Another low pressure system will track through the northern waters on
Sunday. Ahead of the low, strong to gale force southerly winds will
develop over most northern waters. Winds will become strong to gale
force westerlies in its wake.
