Issued 4:00 PM PST 9 November 2025 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening frontal system located from HecateStrait to Explorer.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Monday frontal system located over Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Monday frontal system located over Cape Scott.
At 1:00 p.m. PST Monday low 978 mb located northwest of Bowie.
By 10:00 p.m. PST Monday weakening low 982 mb located north
of Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:45 PM PST 9 November 2025 An intense frontal system moving onto the North Coast continues togenerate southerly gale force winds across northern and central
waters early this evening. Winds will veer to westerly moderate to
strong this evening as the front moves inland. In addition, a brief
period of marginal southeasterly gales is expected over northern
sections of the Strait of Georgia late this afternoon and early this
evening.
Another frontal system will move into Bowie early Monday morning.
Southerly gale force winds will develop over Bowie early Monday
morning and spread into the northern waters by Monday afternoon.
Winds will veer to west strong in the wake of the front.
Over Bowie, a passing low pressure system will generate westerly gale
force winds Monday afternoon and evening.
