Wind northwest 15 to 25 knots except southwest 20 near Qualicum Beach late this evening. Wind becoming northwest 10 to 15 early Tuesday morning then diminishing to light near noon Tuesday. Wind increasing to northwest 15 to 20 early Tuesday evening.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:06 PM PDT 29 May 2023 A stationary ridge from Explorer to Hecate Strait will produce
northwesterly gale force winds through Juan de Fuca Strait this
evening. These winds will diminish by morning, then redevelop Tuesday
Gale force northwesterly winds along West Vancouver Island this
evening will diminish overnight.
