Issued 10:30 AM PDT 11 June 2024 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today low located over eastern Queen CharlotteSound.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing low located over the Central Coast.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located on a line north-south
over Bowie.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Hecate Strait.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:30 AM PDT 11 June 2024 The low pressure system over Eastern Queen Charlotte Sound moves ontothe Central Coast this afternoon and departs the marine region.
Southeasterly gales ahead of the low, will ease through the morning.
In the wake of the low, northwesterly gales will spread across
central waters. Westerly gales will also develop through Juan de Fuca
strait this afternoon.
As a ridge builds over Bowie, northwesterly gales over the central
waters and westerly gales through Juan de Fuca Strait will ease this
evening.
