Issued 4:00 AM PST 7 December 2025 The first in a series of troughs over Hecate Strait early thismorning will depart. Gale force southerlies across the northern and
central waters will briefly diminish to strong. A second trough will
quickly move into the northern waters this morning. Winds across
The northern and central waters will rise again to southwest gale
force late this morning.
A frontal system moving through on Monday will bring storm force
westerlies across Bowie and the northern waters. Hurricane force
gusts are possible with this system. Southwesterly gales will develop
across Explorer and southern waters on Monday with this frontal
system, spreading into Juan de Fuca late Monday.
