Wind diminishing to southwest 15 Friday evening.

Issued 4:00 PM PST 4 March 2021 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. PST today low located off Cape St. James.By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight departing low located off Langara.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday low 990 mb located over southwestern
Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday high 994 mb located near Cape Scott.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:39 PM PST 4 March 2021 A low off cape St. James will track northwards across Haida Gwaiitonight and into the Alaskan Panhandle on Friday. Ahead of the low,
gale to hurricane force southerlies will shift to storm to hurricane
force westerly in its wake.
Another low track will track eastwards over Explorer on Friday, then
across Vancouver Island in the evening. Ahead of the low, gale to
hurricane force southeasterlies will develop west of Vancouver Island
Friday and spread to the inner South Coast as strong to gale force.
In its wake the winds will shift to strong to gale force westerly.
