By 7:00 a.m. PST Saturday warm front located over the Central Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today building ridge located over northern BC
interior.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday departing ridge located over northern
BC interior.
At 1:00 a.m. PST Saturday low 999 mb located over western Bowie.
By 1:00 p.m. PST Saturday departing low located over northern
Haida Gwaii.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday trough located southwest of Explorer.
By midnight PST Saturday trough located over Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:20 AM PST 12 December 2025 A warm front extending through Explorer will move northwards to lieover Southern Bowie this evening. Ahead of this front, easterly
strong to gale force winds will continue over Bowie and persist until
this evening.
An Arctic ridge of high pressure will also strengthen over the
British Columbia Interior tonight, bringing gale force northeast
outflow winds to the North Coast inlets today into tomorrow.
A low pressure system will form over Southern Bowie on Saturday
morning and track northeastward into the Southern Alaska Panhandle by
Saturday evening. Southwest of the low, southwest gale force winds
will develop across northern and central waters.
