Wind diminishing to light near midnight then increasing to southeast 10 to 20 overnight. Wind increasing to southeast 20 to 30 Friday morning and to easterly 30 to 40 Friday evening.

Issued 4:00 AM PST 12 December 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. PST today departing trough located from the North
Coast to the Central Coast then to Cape Scott.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday low located west of Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Friday low located over southern Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM PST 12 December 2024 Strong to gale force westerly to northwesterly winds over the
offshore waters will ease this morning as a trough departs.

A low will approach Explorer on Friday bringing gale to storm force
southeast winds west of Vancouver Island and strong to gale force
southeast winds to the inner south coastal waters.
