Issued 9:30 PM PDT 1 May 2025 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight weakening ridge located on a line
north-south over Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located off Haida Gwaii.
By 1:00 p.m. PDT Friday departing frontal system located on a line
north-south over the Central Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday building ridge located over Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:04 PM PDT 1 May 2025 A frontal system will slowly track eastwards across Haida Gwaii
tonight and onto the mainland Central Coast Friday afternoon.

Ahead of the front, gale force southeasterlies over northern and
central waters will gradually ease this evening. Winds will briefly
rise to southerly gale force near the headlands of Vancouver Island
Friday morning with the passage of the frontal system. Winds will
sharply veer to strong southwesterly in its wake near midday Friday
before easing to moderate southwesterly.
