Issued 3:39 AM PDT 17 May 2024 A ridge of high pressure offshore will weaken today. Strong to galeforce northwesterlies off West Vancouver Island and over Strait of
Georgia will ease this morning.
Additionally, westerly gales through Juan de Fuca Strait will ease to
moderate to strong this morning then rise to strong to gale force
this afternoon. Winds will ease to moderate to strong tonight.
