Issued 4:00 AM PST 27 January 2021 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. PST today quasi-stationary ridge located over BCinterior.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today low located over southern Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low located off the Washington Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today intensifying trough located from the Alaska
panhandle to Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:54 AM PST 27 January 2021 A low pressure system over Southern Explorer will continue to weakentoday before exiting the region this afternoon. Gale force easterlies
over Explorer will ease this morning.
A trough of low pressure will develop from the Alaskan Panhandle to
Explorer today. Northerly gales will develop over Bowie early this
morning and ease in the afternoon.
Additionally, a ridge of high pressure will remain over the BC
Interior. Strong to gale force outflow winds will prevail through the
coastal mainland inlets through Thursday morning.
