Issued 9:30 PM PDT 20 April 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight weakening low located near Cape St. James.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening low located over northern
Hecate Strait.

At 5:00 a.m. PDT Sunday building ridge located west of Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Sunday ridge located from Explorer to Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 6:55 AM PDT 21 April 2024 A trough of low pressure over Northern Hecate Strait will move inland
late this morning while weakening. Strong to gale force westerly
winds over Southern Hecate Strait and southern sections of west coast
Haida Gwaii will ease to moderate to strong early this afternoon.

A frontal system will enter the offshore waters on Monday evening
giving southeast gales.
