By 10:30 a.m. PDT Thursday weakening trough located on a line
east-west over central Explorer.
At 9:30 p.m. PDT Thursday building ridge located off Bowie.

Issued 9:03 PM PDT 15 May 2024 A trough of low pressure from Bowie to the Central Coast will tracksouthwards tonight and Thursday. Ahead of the trough, moderate to
strong westerlies off West Vancouver Island will increase to gale
force northwest Thursday afternoon in its wake. The northwest gales
will gradually spread to Georgia Strait Thursday night.
Meanwhile, westerly gales through Juan de Fuca Strait will ease
overnight and redevelop on Thursday.
