At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday trough located over the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday trough located west of Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 PM PDT 21 March 2025 A developing front over the offshore waters will arrive Saturday
afternoon bringing southeast gales from Haida Gwaii and the North
Coast through the central waters to Explorer region. Gales will
increase to storm force near the headlands of Vancouver Island
Saturday evening. As the front sweeps onto the South Coast it will
bring gales to some inner straits overnight and early Sunday
Morning.
