By 7:00 a.m. PST today dissipating frontal system located over
the Mainland Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today low 986 mb located southwest of Bowie.
By 10:00 p.m. PST tonight low 997 mb located west of Explorer.

Issued 3:43 AM PST 7 March 2021 A front currently extends across Hecate Strait southeastward toVancouver Island. It will then reach the mainland coast this
Morning and dissipate. Southeast gales persist in a narrow band just
ahead of the front but will ease early this morning.
A 986 MB low just southwest of Bowie this morning will slowly track
south, remaining far offshore. Ahead of the low, gale force easterly
or southerly winds will develop over the offshore waters. The gale
force winds will ease tonight as the low drifts away from the
offshore waters.
