Issued 4:00 AM PDT 17 September 2021 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over Hecate Strait.
By 11:00 a.m. PDT today departing frontal system located from the
Central Coast to Vancouver Island.

At 2:00 p.m. PDT today building frontal system located over
southern Explorer.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing frontal system located over
the southern Strait of Georgia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:47 AM PDT 17 September 2021 A Pacific front will continue to generate gale force southeast winds
as it moves through Hecate Strait and the Central Coast.

The front will progress into the South Coast later this morning.
Strongto gale force southeast winds will develop in the region as the
front sweeps across through the day.

Winds are forecast to ease to moderate to strong westerly in the wake
of the front. Westerly gales will develop late in the day today
across Explorer and west coast Vancouver Island.
