Wind westerly 15 knots becoming easterly 15 early this morning then increasing to westerly 15 to 25 late this morning. Wind becoming southeast 15 to 25 early this afternoon then veering to southwest 15 to 25 late this afternoon except southeast 15 over eastern sections. Wind increasing to westerly 25 to 35 early this evening and to westerly 35 to 45 near midnight with gusts to 55. Wind diminishing to westerly 25 to 35 overnight and to westerly 15 to 25 Wednesday morning. Wind becoming southwest 15 Wednesday afternoon.

Showers changing to rain early this morning then to showers this evening.

Bowie.
By midnight PST tonight departing low 978 mb located over northern
Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday low located over the Gulf of Alaska.
By midnight PST Wednesday low located over northern Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM PST 16 December 2025 A low pressure system will track through Bowie into North Coast today
then move inland across the b.C interior overnight. Gale to storm
force southerly to westerly winds are expected across most marine
regions.

In the wake of this system, an unstable airmass will be in place
across the region. Strong to gale force westerly winds will persist
through Wednesday.
