interior.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday weakening ridge located over northern
BC interior.
At 1:00 a.m. PST Saturday low 999 mb located over southwestern
Bowie.
By 1:00 p.m. PST Saturday departing low 988 mb located north
of Langara.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday trough located southwest of Explorer.
By 11:00 p.m. PST Saturday trough located over Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:35 PM PST 12 December 2025 A warm front extending through Explorer will move northward to lieover Southern Bowie this evening. Ahead of this front, strong to gale
force easterlies will continue over Bowie until this evening.
An Arctic ridge of high pressure will also strengthen over the
British Columbia Interior, bringing northeast outflow gales
To the North Coast inlets today and Saturday and also over the
Central Coast starting tonight.
A low will form over Southern Bowie Saturday morning and track
northeastward into the Southern Alaska Panhandle by Saturday evening.
To the south and east of the low, south to southwest gales will
develop across the northern and central waters on Saturday.
