Island.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing trough located over southern
Vancouver Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today building ridge located over Pacific Ocean.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Thursday ridge located over the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:27 AM PDT 15 April 2026 Northwesterly gales over the offshore waters continue today as a
ridge of high pressure strengthens over the Pacific Ocean. Gales will
spread into west coast Vancouver Island this afternoon as the ridge
approaches the BC coast.

A trough sweeping across the southern waters will bring a risk of
thunderstorms and waterspouts this morning and afternoon.
