Issued 9:30 PM PDT 21 September 2019 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Sunday departing frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over the Lower Mainland.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday ridge located west of the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday ridge located over Explorer extending
northward.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM PDT 21 September 2019 A frontal system is currently over Central Vancouver Island.

Ahead of the front, strong to marginal gale force southeasterlies
will persist over the southern waters this evening. In the wake of
the front, winds will shift to westerly and ease to moderate to
strong.

Gale force northwesterlies will develop over West Vancouver Island
Sunday morning as a ridge of high pressure builds offshore.
