Wind northwest 25 to 35 knots becoming northwest 25 this evening then diminishing to northwest 10 to 20 late overnight. Wind increasing to northwest 20 to 25 early Saturday afternoon then diminishing to easterly 5 to 15 Saturday evening except northeast 25 near the mainland inlets.

Issued 4:00 PM PDT 9 October 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over western Bowie.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday building ridge located over the Yukon.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday ridge located over northern BC interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 PM PDT 9 October 2026 In the wake of a frontal system, strong to gale force northwesterlies
will continue tonight over most marine waters as a ridge builds
offshore. Winds will gradually ease overnight into Saturday morning.

On Saturday, a ridge of high pressure will build over northern
BC bringing strong to gale force northeasterly outflow winds through
the mainland inlets of the central and North Coast.
