Issued 4:00 PM PDT 5 June 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening low 1010 mb located over northern
Explorer.
By 8:00 a.m. PDT Saturday dissipating low located over Vancouver
Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located west of Bowie.
By 8:00 a.m. PDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday approaching frontal system located west
of the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:42 PM PDT 5 June 2026 A low pressure system will move to lie over Vancouver Island tonight.
This system will provide conditions that are favourable for the
formation of waterspouts over the Strait of Georgia and the mouth of
Howe Sound tonight and Saturday morning.
