north-south over central Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT today trough located over eastern Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today trough located on a line north-south over
Queen Charlotte Sound.

Issued 3:52 AM PDT 18 May 2026 A trough over Eastern Bowie will continue to move eastward thismorning generating southeasterly gales over Dixon Entrance East and
northern sections of Hecate Strait early this morning. Winds will
weaken later this morning.
Marginal westerly gales are expected to develop over eastern
Sections of Juan de Fuca late this afternoon and this evening.
