Gale warning in effect.

Wind light increasing to variable 15 knots this evening except southeast 25 near the mouth of Howe Sound. Wind becoming southerly inflow 15 to 25 after midnight then increasing to southerly inflow 25 to 35 early Friday morning. Wind diminishing to southerly inflow 10 to 20 late Friday morning and to light Friday evening.

Periods of drizzle changing to rain this evening and ending Friday morning.

southern Bowie.
By midnight PDT tonight low 990 mb located near McInnes Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:54 PM PDT 29 October 2020 A deepening low pressure system over Southern Bowie will move
Onshore near McInnes Island near midnight.
Ahead of the low, gale to storm force southeasterlies have begun over
central waters and strong to gale force northeasterlies are forecast
over northern waters. Gale to storm force northwest winds will
develop tonight in the wake of the low. A brief period of hurricane
force northwest winds can be expected over Northern Explorer this
evening.
