Wind increasing to northwest 50 to 60 early Monday morning then diminishing to northwest 35 to 45 near noon Monday. Wind diminishing to northwest 25 to 35 Monday afternoon and to northwest 15 to 25 Monday evening.
Rain changing to scattered showers Monday morning. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

Issued 4:00 PM PST 3 November 2024 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. PST today low 1001 mb located west of Bowie.By 4:00 a.m. PST Monday low 988 mb located over Hecate Strait.
At 10:30 a.m. PST Monday departing low 995 mb located over central
BC interior.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Monday building ridge located west of the offshore
waters.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:49 PM PST 3 November 2024 An intense low pressure system will move through Bowie tonight andreach Haida Gwaii by early Monday morning. The low will cross the
North and Central Coasts and move into the BC Interior later in the
morning.
Ahead of the low, southerly gale to storm force winds will develop
this evening across offshore, northern waters and central waters
followed by southern waters overnight.
Behind the low, northwesterly gale to storm force winds are expected
overnight across most outer waters followed by the inner southern
waters on Monday. Northwesterly hurricane force winds are forecast
over central waters early Monday morning. Most winds will gradually
ease below gales by Monday evening as the low departs and a ridge
approaches.
