Issued 4:00 PM PDT 14 October 2024 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday trough located over southern Bowie.
By 9:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday trough located from the North Coast to
Cape Scott.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday deepening low located over northern
Explorer.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday low 999 mb located over southern Hecate
Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:36 PM PDT 14 October 2024 A trough moving in from the Pacific will bring gale force
south/southwesterlies to the northern and central waters beginning
early Tuesday morning. On Tuesday afternoon, a small but intense low
pressure centre will move from Explorer, across Queen Charlotte Sound
and into Hecate Strait Tuesday evening. Gale force winds with quick
direction changes will accompany this system.
