At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over Bowie.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:30 AM PDT 11 August 2026 A ridge of high pressure offshore will produce strong to gale force
northwesterlies for the west coast of Vancouver Island, south of the
Brooks Peninsula, late Wednesday.
