Wind becoming southerly 40 to 50 near midnight then diminishing to southwest 30 to 40 early Sunday morning except southwest 20 to 30 over western sections. Wind diminishing to southwest 25 Sunday afternoon.
Scattered showers this morning. Rain beginning near midnight changing to scattered showers near noon Sunday. Risk of thunderstorms Sunday morning and afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

Issued 10:30 AM PST 9 November 2024 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:30 a.m. PST today dissipating frontal system located on aline northeast-southwest over the Lower Mainland.
At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located west of Bowie.
By 10:00 a.m. PST Sunday frontal system located on a line
north-south over Hecate Strait.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Sunday weakening frontal system located on a line
north-south over Tofino.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:21 AM PST 9 November 2024 A frontal system will move across Bowie overnight before approachingthe North Coast on Sunday afternoon.
Gale force southeasterlies will develop over the offshore waters late
this afternoon, strengthening to storm force near midnight. Gale to
storm force southerlies ahead of the front will extend to the north
and central waters by Sunday morning.
By Sunday afternoon, the front will cross the South Coast, bringing
gale force southeasterlies to the area and localized storm force
winds to the headlands of West Coast Vancouver Island North.
