northeast-southwest over Explorer.

Issued 10:26 AM PDT 18 April 2025 A trough of low pressure will move down the BC coast today, followedby a building ridge of high pressure.
Gale force northwest winds will develop off the west coast of
Vancouver Island this afternoon and persist through Saturday. Strong
to gale force northwest winds are also expected over the inner South
Coast waters tonight through Saturday morning.
