Issued 4:00 PM PDT 6 October 2024 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located over Haida Gwaii.By 4:00 p.m. PDT Monday weakening frontal system located on a line
north-south over northern Vancouver Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:42 PM PDT 6 October 2024 A frontal system will cross the northern waters this evening andspread gales to northern and central waters. Local storm force
southerly winds are expected over most central waters this evening as
this frontal system merges with the quasi-stationary front hung up
along the Central Coast.
The frontal system will move eastward and weaken to lie over the
Central Coast Monday. Winds will ease to strong to gale force
southeasterlies ahead of the front and moderate to strong
southwesterlies behind it.
