Lower Mainland.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located over Explorer extending
northward.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Monday ridge located over Vancouver Island
extending northward.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located west of the offshore
waters.
By 8:00 a.m. PDT Monday frontal system located over Haida Gwaii
extending southward.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 PM PDT 22 September 2019 A frontal system over this Lower Mainland will depart this afternoon.
In its wake gale force northwesterlies will continue over West
Vancouver Island this evening.

Another front will move across the northern offshore waters tonight.
Gale force southeast winds will develop over the offshore waters
tonight then spread to the central and north coasts on Monday.
Winds over the northern waters will become gale to storm force
southwesterlies in the wake of the front.
