over northern Bowie.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:34 PM PDT 7 August 2022 Ahead of a ridge of high pressure, strong to gale force northwesterly
winds off West Vancouver Island are expected this afternoon through
Monday. Strong to gale force northwest winds will develop through
Johnstone Strait this evening.
Winds will rise to strong to gale force northerly over the
southeastern half of Explorer overnight. Winds will also rise to
strong to gale force northwesterly over the southern half of Hecate
Strait Monday evening.
