Issued 10:30 AM PDT 12 July 2024 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located from Explorer
to the North Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:23 AM PDT 12 July 2024 A ridge of high pressure offshore will continue to generate strong to
gale force northwesterly winds throughout the southern waters today.

Northwest gales will develop through Johnstone Strait this afternoon.

An extended period of northwesterly gale force winds will also
continue over west coast Vancouver Island and persist through
Saturday.
