Issued 4:00 PM PST 8 December 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. PST today departing low 978 mb located over theAlaska panhandle.
At 10:00 a.m. PST Tuesday frontal system located west of the
offshore waters.
By 10:00 p.m. PST Tuesday frontal system located from Hecate Strait
to Vancouver Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:12 PM PST 8 December 2025 A frontal system has moved through the northern waters today.Expecting southwest storm to gale force winds to persist through the
northern waters tonight before weakening on Tuesday morning.
Southwest gale force winds will continue through Juan de Fuca Strait
and Haro Strait this evening , easing later tonight as the frontal
system tracks farther inland.
Another front will approach the offshore waters on Tuesday, bringing
southeast gales to the central and northern waters. Winds will shift
to strong to gale force westerly behind the system Tuesday night.
