By 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT today trough located west of Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Thursday weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

Issued 10:17 AM PDT 20 May 2026 Ahead of a ridge of high pressure, northwesterly gales over JohnstoneStrait and West Vancouver Island will develop this afternoon and then
ease overnight. Winds will redevelop late Thursday afternoon.
A frontal system tracking across Bowie today continues to give
southerly gales to Northern Bowie this morning. Winds will slowly
ease in the afternoon and evening.
