to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary frontal system located on
a line north-south over central Vancouver Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located over western Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing trough located on a line east-west
over Haida Gwaii.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located over western
Explorer.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Wednesday departing frontal system located on
a line north-south over central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday low located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday low located west of Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 6:56 AM PDT 15 October 2019 An intense frontal system stretching from Hecate Strait to Explorer
this morning will approach the South Coast this afternoon. Gale to
storm force southeasterly winds will prevail over parts of northern,
central and southern waters today. The gale force southeast winds
will reach the inner South Coast by this afternoon.

A trough will quickly move into the offshore waters this morning
bringing gale force southerly winds to most northern and central
waters today.

Another front will cross offshore waters this evening and approach
the mainland coast overnight then move through the South Coast on
Wednesday. Gale force southeast winds will be generated by the front.

On Wednesday, another frontal system will cross into central and
northern waters bringing southerly gales.
