Issued 4:00 AM PST 24 February 2024 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PST today dissipating trough located on a line
north-south over eastern Queen Charlotte Sound.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Sunday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:01 AM PST 24 February 2024 This morning, a weak trough will quickly swing through the northern
waters then move inland by midday. Behind the trough, westerly gales
will develop beginning this afternoon.

Another trough will develop in Southern Bowie tonight. This trough
will move into southern waters by Sunday. Northwesterly gales will
spread into northern and central waters tonight then into southern
waters on Sunday. A brief period of storm force northwesterly winds
are very likely over Dixon Entrance and Bowie on Sunday morning.
