By 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Issued 3:50 PM PDT 18 April 2025 A strong ridge of high pressure is building over the offshore waters.

Gale force northwest winds have developed off the west coast of
Vancouver Island and will persist through Saturday. Strong
To gale force northwest winds are also expected over the inner South
Coast waters tonight through Saturday morning.
